Pastor Keith Bethel came to Laveen in 2005 with the vision of planting a new church that would be a connecting place for the people of South Phoenix. Pastor Keith's dream is not to "do church" the same way it's always been done, but to experience community the way God always intended it to be: Warm, gracious, loving... and fun!
Keith is a graduate of Wheaton College and Denver Seminary. He is married to his best friend, Rebeccah. Keith enjoys keeping active: from pushing weights at LA Fitness to climbing Piestewa Peak twice a week to playing golf whenever and wherever possible - even in 110 degrees! Hey... it's a dry heat! |

Jon and his wife, Liz, met in 1996 and have been married since 2002. Their young family includes 2 year old Ana Grace and now a son, Elijah Duane, born in August 2009.
Jon graduated from Southwestern College in 2001 where he received a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries with a Youth minor. He has been involved in various aspects of children or youth ministry since 1997. Jon has been a youth pastor, lead discipleship groups, and has also lead children’s worship. Liz graduated from A.S.U. with a degree in Business Management in 2005. Liz is an important part of the children’s ministry and uses her organizational skills to help.
Jon and Liz are committed to a children’s ministry that challenges and impacts students. Along with this, they are dedicated to developing a team of adult leaders who love God, love kids and want to have a positive influence on the children at Passages. |
